What drew me to storytelling?
Growing up I had a fascination with the ability for stories to charm and captivate me. I found that there were some stories that impacted me more than others and I soon realised it was those that related to me on personal level or it was those that were written so well that they left me in awe of what sort of genius mind must have been able to produce something that I came to regard as sacred.
There was just something about a story so moving that it could sit in your heart and mind for days or weeks on end - drawing you back to it no matter where you were and inviting you to immerse yourself it in once more. And each time it beckoned me, I discovered another layer of depth to it that made me cherish it even more. This is when I started to discover that there is a unique power to storytelling that cannot be matched when you find that particular one that you connect with.
I learnt that each of these authors I read had something to say and that at it's base level, writing is simply expressing oneself to whomever is willing to listen. So now I am the one extending an invite to all who want to listen and join me in my new SFF adventure novel. It has been a labour of love and passion for me and I have done my best to pour my heart and soul into it. My hope is that, if you walk away with nothing else from it, I hope that you can see I did my best to write in a way that would revere the special place and unique power that storytelling has and can have in each of our hearts. I hope my novel can be one of those for you.

See what the adventure is all about . . .
Norah has always had a gift. A gift that has been frowned upon by everyone, including her mother. And it is through this gift that she feels called to leave her family and homeland behind in search of a solution to the cause of a bizarre cosmic disturbance.
But what is being asked of her places her in a difficult predicament. How can she leave everything behind, especially now that she is expecting her first child? She feels torn and knows that her family would feel betrayed by her actions.
But how can she not go? She knows her gift to be true and feels that what she is being asked to do is bigger than her family or homeland. She has discovered that the cosmic disturbance threatens the lives of all those in it and that she can play a role in making all things right again.
But at the same time, she fears that if such an existential threat exists, she may not come back at all. Norah takes a leap of faith and embarks on an odyssey into the furthest depths of the cosmos, a place no one has gone before.
There, she will have to fight the threat that exists using her remarkable abilities and have others join her in the battle, in the hopes that she can rescue it all before it’s too late.

"I first started having ideas for this novel around 10 years ago and since then it has been one act of faith in front of another to get it to come to pass. I am excited to share it with the world and I believe there is a little bit of everything for everyone in it.
It is a character driven story with meaningful relationships, and it has a larger than life scale and feel that invites readers to get lost in a fascinating new world. There are intense action sequences that get the blood pumping and there is a stirring plot with twists and turns that will hopefully keep reader's on the edge of their seats."
